The C2C Confernce includes a continental breakfast, educational sessions, networking, vendors, exhibits, lunch, and much more. PennDOT Engineering District 1-0, District Executive Bill Petit will be the lunch-time keynote speaker.
There will be 3 educational tracks with 12 different educational sessions to choose from. This year’s topics include: Storm Water Management (Act 167), Energy (Act 129), Technology and Broadband, Greenways - Next Steps, Joint Purchasing - COSTARS, Understanding Marcellus Shale, the PA Wilds Design Guide and Artisan Trail, USDA Rural Development, Bridges, and Dealing with Downtown Blighted Properties.
Representatives from the Northwest Commission, USDA Rural Development, DCED, DCNR, DEP, PennDOT, PA Environmental Council, and Fish & Boat Commission will be in attendance. Over 30 sponsors, vendors, and exhibitors have already signed up to participate in this year’s event. It is because of their on-going support that the Commission is able to offer C2C as a free event for attendees. Over 175 municipal, county, and community leaders from the northwest 8 county region attended last year’s educational and networking event.
