Two Power of 32 Community Conversation will be held this week in Unity and Murrysville.
In the "listening phase" of the Power of 32 project, residents may attend the session to voice their visions for the region’s future.
A session will be held from 6:30-9 p.m. today at the Fred Rogers Center, St. Vincent College, 300 Fraser Purchase Road. The Murrysville session will be held 6:30-9 p.m. Wednesday in Council Chambers, 4100 Sardis Road.
All community conversations are scheduled for 6:30-9 p.m. Upcoming sessions will be held:
• Tuesday, Aug. 3, Rostraver Township Municipal Building, 201 Municipal Drive.
• Wednesday, Aug. 4, Ligonier Borough Town Hall Community Room, 120 E. Main St.
• Tuesday, Aug. 10, New Alexandria Community Center, 207 W. Main St.
Each Community Conversation will have an average of 30 people sitting in small groups of six to eight and discussing specific questions. The results of the conversations will be collected, entered into a website and analyzed for the next phase of the initiative.
