2012 Natural Gas Utilization Conference

The 2012 Natural Gas Utilization Conference will address critical efforts underway to increase the utilization of natural gas and the natural gas liquids being generated from the shale gas play that is sweeping the nation. The event will be held at the Penn Stater Conference Center in State College on September 6 and 7 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Day 1 (September 6th) will focus on Transportation. Sessions will address OEMs offering natural gas powered vehicles, and several sessions discussing both fueling station and vehicle/ engine conversion options. The day will end with a reception where several natural gas powered vehicles will be displayed, with the providers discussing the features and benefits of each vehicle.

Day 2 (September 7th) will focus on uses for the Natural Gas Liquids (NGLs) & Natural Gas to Liquids Conversion Technologies. Speakers will cover current projects underway to convert and utilize the NGL’s and address multiple technologies available or under development to convert natural gas to liquid transportation fuels and chemicals.

Day 2 will also include a 3 hour “Deep Dive” Transportation Workshop for those interested in what is occurring in the State of Pa related to Natural Gas Refueling Infrastructure and Vehicles. All aspects will be addressed by a panel of experts. This workshop is designed to answer the questions attendees have who are considering purchasing natural gas vehicles or converting vehicles to run on natural gas, or are considering installing natural gas refueling infrastructure.
